What is Amalaki?

I used “the google” to get a definition of Amalaki and came across this. 

I’ve noticed a juice product currently being marketed via Network Marketing.  I haven’t done research on their particular product but I will tell you that it is only 1 ingridient in GBG’s 10 in 1.  I’m also confident that from a price standpoint, our product is only $19.95 so I feel good that what we offer is still the most potent, easy to asimilate product in the market place.  If you are looking for a good supplement and / or an excellent business opportunity, GBG is for you.

Now on to the definition that i found on “the internets”.

Indian gooseberry, also called Amlaki, has been treasured in India for over 5,000 years for its restorative and balancing influences on the body. The Amlaki fruit is rich in Vitamin C, bioflavonoids, flavones, polyphenols and carotenoids.

 

       It is the richest natural source of vitamin ‘C’. The amount of vitamin ‘C’ in Amalaki is four times more than it is in oranges and eight times more than it is in tomatoes.
